Ms. Mazo discusses coming to work at the Museum at the beginning of World War II, and includes descriptions of Dorothy C. Miller, Dorothy H. Dudley, Rene d'Harnoncourt, James Thrall Soby, and Alfred H. Barr, Jr. The relationship between the artist Yasuo Kuniyoshi (1893-1953), to whom Ms. Mazo was married, and the Museum is described as are the evolution of the Museum's Department of Painting and Sculpture from the Department of Museum Collections and changes in the department during the 1950s and 60s.
